Tegen de achtergrond van migratie, moederschap en zorg belicht de film de stille strijd van een vrouw die haar weg zoekt in een samenleving die haar nauwelijks ziet. Het is een verhaal over liefde, veerkracht en de complexe realiteit van leven in de marge.
